Overview

Magnify Your Senses. ™

The reason we named the company Vestige is because it means traces of something that are disappearing or no longer exist. Glacier National Park is home to a colony of glaciers that are feeling the effects of global warming, diminishing by year and shrinking in size.

Problem

Tourist souvenirs are an important source of revenue but sometimes lack the quality and visual appeal to truly capture the essence of a national park. Packaging is also a source of waste that needs to be considered when developing a product, especially when the topic is as crucial as global warming and capturing the natural wonders that are disappearing every year - from wildlife, environment, and glaciers.

Solution

Developed from scratch, this monocular is designed to appeal to the tourists and visitors who are there to witness the disappearing beauty of Glacier National Park. The packaging was developed with sustainable sources in mind from inks to paper, as well as through the development and manufacturing of the monoculars themselves.

Glacier National Park is a 1,583-sq.-mi. wilderness area in Montana's Rocky Mountains, with glacier-carved peaks and valleys running to the Canadian border. Diverse wildlife ranges from mountain goats to grizzly bears

Understanding climate change

Product / Packaging Sketching

The goal was to develop a limited-edition product that spoke to visitors, employees, and consumers. A product that would capture the essence of Glacier National Park.

Packaging Deveopment
